Video: Australian bushfires: Rare species on Kangaroo Island could be near extinction

Nearly half a billion animals have been killed in Australia’s devastating bushfires. Rare species of birds, bees and marsupials on Kangaroo Island could be near extinction. A quarter of Kangaroo Island’s beehives has been destroyed, while thousands of koalas have been killed. Locals have also expressed concern about the black cockatoo population.
